Photo Project

I am looking at the blog by Nathan B. He has started to work on creating his own song. His guitar teacher gave him the idea and hes working it into his 20 time. His problem is that he's fairly new to guitar and is having trouble coming up with a way to add variations to keep the song from being boring. His birthday is also coming up soon and he's hoping to get enough money to buy a better acoustic guitar.

My 20 Time

For my 20 time I will be recording a tribute album for the band Coheed and Cambria. The album will have one acoustic version of a song from each of the 7 albums, performed and recorded by me. I will also use photo shop to create album art for the cover of the CD case and a track list to go on the back. So far I have begun recording the instrumental parts for several songs and next I will do backing vocals. The only challenge I have faced is the fact that I have never used garage band before and am still getting used to it.

I am looking at the blog by Nathan B. He is working on recording his music and posting a "song of the week" each Friday. So far he hasn't done any recording but has posted several songs. He says that his biggest problem is that people haven't been requesting any songs for him to post and he hasn't been getting feedback on it so he will be stopping this for a while. However this has freed up some time for him to work on learning guitar from an old teacher and so far it sounds like he's doing good.
This project relates to my interests because I am very interesting in music and doing something musical for my  time. My goal for my  time project is to make a series of videos covering songs and playing some original songs. I will use my musical skills such as playing guitar, singing, and recording music. By the February I would like to have at least 5 videos to share.
